Hamas rejects negotiations on ceasefire with Israel

Gaza: The ruling party of Gaza strip, Hamas has rejected any negotiations for a truce with Israel after the killing of its military chief Ahmad al-Jabari in an Israeli air strike in Gaza, which escalated violence in the region with at least 20 Palestinians killed in Israeli air strikes and 3 Israelis killed in Hamas rocket fire.

According to foreign news agency, Hamas leaders said that they would not negotiate Israel for a truce as it would be considered as an attempt to conceal the atrocities of the occupiers, a word used by militant group for Israel.

?We will not be trapped by false claims of truce with Israel,? they said adding that any ceasefire with Israel would be considered as a betrayal from the blood of martyrs.

Meanwhile, The Hamas government announced that the Egyptian Prime Minister Hisham Kandil would visit the Gaza Strip on Friday.

Earlier, hundreds of Egyptian demonstrators had staged a protest in front of the Arab League?s Cairo headquarters and demanded that Arab governments move quickly to stop ongoing Israeli aggression.
