If you are the owner of a Sony Xperia U or Tipo you may just have to wait patiently for getting upgraded to the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update. This news however is not surprising to many mobile enthusiasts due to the price tag of these mobiles. However to some owners it comes as a disappointment especially if they shelled out enough money to be the owner of a Sony handset just for the Jelly Bean update.
There is however good news for owners of higher ended smartphones by Sony and that is everything is running as per its schedule so far. The Sony Xperia S, Xperia SL, Xperia Ion will get a update to the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system in the forthcoming weeks. The other smartphones of Sony Xperia T, Xperia TX and Xperia V will begin receiving these updates in the months of March and February of 2013.
Sony in a statement expressed its excitement about the upmcing Jelly Bean update. The features and the functionality of the devices will improve in the forthcoming new year. It however did not comment on what it expected in the forthcoming Jelly Bean update for these devices. It only knows that the mobile user will get a revamped user interface that will be better!
